The Councils representing the Métis Nation of Ontario Citizens of Region 8 took part in their first historic Regional General Meeting (RGM) on Sunday, February 24, 2013.  The Toronto-York Region Métis Council (TYRMC) was host to the other two Councils in Region 8; the Oshawa and Durham Métis Council (ODMC) and the Credit River Métis Council (CRMC).    just click for more information: Region 8 General and LRC Meeting 2013

Louis Riel Day Gathering

Medicine Walk Success!
Sunday September 9, 2012, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
The Credit River Métis Council in partnership with the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and Conservation Halton was the proud host of A Métis Medicine Walk at the beautiful Crawford Lake Conservation Area.
